i dont understand why i am afraid of this? pyramid with an eye? (my dream)?
hi, i saw a question on here a few minutes ago, about what my creepiest dream ever was about. it got me thinking and on thinking about it, i realise it still gives me chills to this day.
i first dreamt the dream in year 8 (for users outside the UK, its the 2nd year of high school) and it has repeated with out any changes on and off for around 6 years.
it starts where i wake up on a hard metal floor, i don’t remember where i am and my head hurts. i hear a voice of a teacher i used to have, mr holt. He says, ‘don’t look at it in the eye, whatever you do.’ he’s crying, actually he’s quite hysterical. i take a quick glance up and there is a floating pyramid inside the metal tower i am in. the pyramid has an eye and its staring at my teacher. it doesnt look at me though so im safe. next thing i know. mr holt shouts look down, then breaks his gaze and grabs my hand, we run down the stairs and the pyramid follows its gaze but stays where it is. once we get outside the sun is really bright, the floor is pink and white and there are tall hedges everywhere, like a maze. there are creatures that resemble anubis, men with jackal heads and they are standing with their arms crossed. mr holt pushes me into a hedge and they look at me, but then calmly walk over to mr holt who just looks at me and shrugs. the ’soldiers’ hold onto him and rip off the arms of his jacket and shirt, then they bite parts off him. they do it slowly and my teacher does nothing, its like they’re at a dinner party and have all the time in the world. mr holt doesnt move or struggle. he doesnt even scream or flinch. when they have eaten him i throw up and the jackels look at me, then adopt the same position with their arms crossed; its like they are waiting impatiently. a hand grabs me and pulls me through the hedge and the person says. ‘Did you look directly at the pyramid?’ we start to walk, and every step we take, the jackals take two. i wake up when they are directly behind me and the person im with says she cant take it anymore and turns to look at the pyramid.
im not scared for the person, the jackals or of being eaten, the only point where i am terrified is when i see the pyramid, which really confuses me. what does this pyramid with an eye symbolise? i heard it was on american money, so is it a positive thing or negative?
Such dreams usually occur as ‘don’t step on the grass’ type of experiences. In it, a person is given a certain type of instruction or prohibition. The punishment for engaging in such behavior is usually also self-evident and beyond the ability of the person to deflect if they so transgress. During the course of the dream, certain ‘encounters’ provide continual reminder to obey the instruction or prohibition, usually with many of the helpers themselves falling prey to the prohibition after a certain amount of time in the dream. If all goes well, the dream ends with the person obeying the instruction.
The basis for such dreams is as follows: all knowledge exists in a healthy or unhealthy state, depending on when the person decides to experience it. Experiencing knowledge (or power, which is another form of knowledge) before one is ready to fully grasp its implications usually leads to one’s own self destruction. As such, the people who assist in these type of dreams choose to disobey oftentimes in order to provide a concrete example of why the prohibition should be obeyed. They sacrifice themselves in order to propel the person forward. That is why Mr. Holt allowed himself to be captured in the hedge by the guardian Jackals. Btw, jackals are scavengers in the natural world, feeding off the ‘dead’ and abandoned carcasses that other predators kill. If you think of it as a relay of life, Mr. Holt passed the care and overseeing of your ‘education’ into another. That is also why the woman decides to turn and look at the pyramid after she knows you have safely completed the exercise.
What most people aren’t going to tell you is that there is a way to ‘win’ in these dreams. That is to treat it like a game of Simon Says. The eye at the top of the pyramid is Simon. Whatever Simon tells you to do, so long as they say Simon Says, is safe. You are free to respond to the eye as well, and that includes telling it that you won’t play its game unless it does provide you safe passage (and please be sure to make sure it says Simon Says when it offers it to you, don’t forget the rules.) The end result should be something like "Simon Says it is safe to stop and look me in the eye." The dream is a obstacle and a recruitment dream. Those who pass the test get to obtain the knowledge, secret, understanding, etc. that lies beyond the danger. Such people, in turn, then become successors or progenitors (Henry the IV after Henry the III dies or abdicates) of the secret who then begin their own reign and search for a successor. Just as the teachers in the dream acted as a relay in ensuring your survival/education, so too does the successor to the original prohibition become its own point of relay (is there knowledge the eye guards that will lead one even further?) in a greater scheme of things.
The search for knowledge is really the search for the proper time for when such knowledge ‘ripens’ into something good. Would you eat an orange that is little more than a small round blob on a tree or would you wait until it actually turns orange (but before it turns black and mushy) before deciding to pick it? Learning to listen to the ‘tree’ is how one ‘wins’ the game.

The Ancient pyramids were made in the shape of a 3 dimensional triangle because that’s how the chakras of our souls look like, and this is a very posotive thing. The eye has been called The eye of Ra, The Eye of Horus, and The 3rd eye; once someone has opened the 3rd eye, it reveals alot of things that the person couldn’t see before, this is why it’s commonly known as, "the all seeing eye."
In my opinion, wether you knew it or not, Mr.Holt was trying to damage you spiritually, or he was trying extremely hard to keep something from you.
The Sun was worshipped in Egypt because many ancient Egyptians practiced witchcraft, the white-gold energy the sun gives off is more powerful than any other, that would be the only reason that it would hold any significance in this dream.
Anubis was trying to protect you, obviously, Mr.Holt has it out for you…Maybe Anubis is even your Guardian.

The fact that pyramid isn’t complete symbolizes that nothing is perfect. The eye symbolizes that wisdom can complete the pyramid, creating perfection.

That’s interesting because I had an intense dream once where the Eye of Horus was placed over my heart. It was so different from yours as I felt flooded with a sense of total protection and perfect peace. The eye in my dream was inside a circle and when I woke up my first thought was to draw it and the drawing is still kept with my most sacred keepsakes. I do believe both of our "eyes" are all seeing eyes. There can be many interpretations to this dream so I won’t delve into it much at this point although I have some ideas. You are the one who must ultimately understand its meaning, that is why it keeps repeating. I doubt the eye has anything to do with American money, but more with the eye of God. Blessings to you.

eye on pyramid actually symbolises the eye of horus (representing either the sun or moon) an egyptian falcon god. a sign of protection, or knowledge and ancient wisdom.

You are correct. An eye within a pyramid, or more so above an unfinished pyramid, is on American currency. It is called the Eye of Providence. It can be found on the back of a one dollar bill. This eye refers to the watchful eye of God and the pyramid refers to man’s endeavours. The symbol is telling its observer that God’s guidance should be sought in every aspect of ones life. The other images in your dream are telling. Do you have a fascination for Egyptian religious imagery? It would appear so from your dream.
I have an idea of what your dream may mean. It appears to me that you are feeling a bit guilty. Maybe you did, or someone caused you to do, something that you believe is wrong. This is why in your dream you flee, and even fear, images of the divine. Dreams are often a way for our subconscious mind to communicate with us. It is an interesting dream to say the least.
God Bless! +?+
