Going on a Freak Out Mission…Please stop me!?
I posted this question yesterday and I only received one response, I’m still freaked out. Please see below:

Hello everyone!

I’m a little confused here and I figured I should pose the question to you guys first! I have been trying to conceive for a couple of months now and I’m having a strange situation occur that I wanted to get your opinions on.

September 14, 2009 – Regular period (Heavy cramping, bleeding and clotting as usual)
Last month (October) my cycle began on 10/13/09 and lasted until 10/21/09 – Regular period (Heavy cramping, bleeding and clotting as usual)
I began having sex on 10/21 regularly up until 11/2/09 (diagnosed w/yeast infection, stopped intercourse for 7 days, started back up on 11/9/09) – This doctor’s appointment went kind of funny, when I got there I had a little pinkness on my tissue when I wiped myself before the exam, by the time she examined me I had a little trickle of blood come out during the examination,by the time I got back to work it was gone, never to be seen again.

November Bleeding (not sure I can consider it a period) began on November 13 (Friday) – This is where it gets hinky: Not one cramp just very faint bleeding, the bleeding was so little that I used a tampon and when I removed it, there was just a little gooey brownnesss (sorry, it gets worse), the next day (Saturday) I didn’t have ANY activity until the early evening when I went out drinking, very light bleeding and one very small clot (still not cramping) Sunday I got the same spot of pinkish and brown gooeyness, The same thing for Monday through Today (Wednesday) I have experienced some minor cramps, not enough to consider cramps like during my regular periods (I take a lot of pills usually during my cycle due to cramping, these I would characterize on a scale of 1-10 as 1’s or 2’s)
Today (Wednesday) I’m on my 5th day and I am still experiencing the same thing. In total, this whole period hasn’t resulted in enough blood to fill an entire light pad. When usually, I’m going through a bag and a half each cycle or a complete box of tampons per cycle. I don’t have tender breasts, I am a sleeper so I can’t really say fatigue, I’m always tired. The only other symptom I can say is during the weeks of November 2 and November 9, I had constant headaches accompanied by slight dizziness for a couple of days, that has since stopped but I do have frequent trips to the bathroom within the last two weeks.

Overall, I’m freaked out because I am a BLEEDER point blank and to have this faux period is making me nervous and excited at the same time so I figured I would let you weigh in before I set myself up for another disappointment. I want to take a test but I’m so scared of the result I’d rather just wait but until when? I don’t want to wait until too long in the off chance that I am so I could start prepping but I don’t know if I have enough heart to read another BFN. Thanks for listening ladies and all of your thoughts are appreciated.

It can be any number of things. The symptoms you described could be caused by pregnancy (but I don’t think so), an infection (more likely) or a hormonal imbalance from coming off the pills. Also, I’d go back to your doctor, and get a diagnosis, and also have your husband treated, who could be giving you your yeast infection (or others) back.

You didn’t mention your weight, but these symptoms could all be linked to diabetes also, which is a serious condition that can be treated, and you can carry a child with it, but it’s important to get checked, and a pregnancy without treating it could be fatal. Yeast infections/fatigue/frequent urination are the top symptoms of diabetes. You don’t have to be overweight to have it either.

\Good luck, but I really think you should be checking with your doctor. If you cannot afford a doctor, get an A1C test to check overall blood sugar levels from your pharmacy, and a test which checks for female infections. Good luck!
